Red dirt writer

I'm writing a book with my mum about her experiences working and travelling around Australia for the last 13 years. It's as much a memoir as it is a guide for anyone else thinking of doing the same thing. I'd be interested to hear about other people who are writing their own stories, or about experiences of self-publishing and from people who are interested in the topic I'm writing about.

Smoko


Here's Steve and I having smoko at the orchard we are working in at Kingaroy. We've packed peaches and nectarines for the past six weeks and we're heading off to NZ just before Christmas to celebrate my sister's 60th birthday on Christmas day. We're also looking forward to competing in the NZ Masters Games, touring the South island and possibly even working picking fruit for a few months. My daughter will be at home slaving away getting our book ready!
